📂 Left Navigation Menu – Detailed Explanations
Create New Track Start a brand‑new track entry. This opens a form where you can enter all the essential details: title, description, genre, instruments, moods, status, writers, publishers, musicians, files, and relationships. It’s the main way to add new works into your catalog.
Templates Manage reusable templates for track creation. Templates pre‑fill common metadata (like genres, moods, instruments, or statuses) so you can add new tracks quickly and consistently without retyping the same information.
Tracks View, search, and edit all tracks in your catalog. This is your central library where you can filter, open, and update existing entries.
Relationships Define and manage connections between tracks and other entities (albums, projects, writers, publishers, musicians). Relationships keep credits accurate and allow you to group related works.
Musicians Maintain a database of performers/session players. You can attach them to tracks to record who played which instrument, whether they were hired, and any notes about their contribution.
Publishers Store publisher information and link publishers to tracks. This is important for rights management, submissions, and catalog ownership tracking.
Writers Manage composer/songwriter records. You can assign writers to tracks, specify contribution percentages, and keep authorship consistent across your catalog.
All Metadata A central hub for managing your metadata model. Here you can review and adjust all the categories and fields (genres, moods, instruments, statuses, etc.) that are used across your catalog.
Genres Create and maintain your genre taxonomy. This ensures stylistic classification is consistent, making it easier to search and filter tracks.
Instruments Define and manage instrument tags. This helps you catalog tracks by instrumentation and keep credits standardized.
Moods Set up mood descriptors (e.g., uplifting, tense, dramatic). Consistent mood tagging improves discoverability and pitching for sync opportunities.
Track Statuses Configure workflow states (e.g., draft, submitted, signed). Statuses help you track where each track is in your creative or business pipeline.
Import Bring in tracks or metadata from external sources (often via CSV). This is ideal for bulk onboarding or migrating an existing catalog.
Import History Review logs of past imports. This lets you confirm what was added or updated and troubleshoot any errors.
Files Upload and manage audio files, stems, mixes, artwork, and documents. Files can be linked directly to tracks so all assets stay organized.
Plans View and manage your subscription plan. This shows your current plan, billing details, and options to upgrade or downgrade.
Users Manage user accounts and permissions. You can invite collaborators and control what they can access or edit.
Plan Usage Monitor how much of your plan’s resources you’ve used (storage, data transfer, etc.) so you don’t hit limits unexpectedly.
Storage See how much storage space you’ve used versus your plan’s allowance. Helps you plan uploads and manage large files.
Data Transfer Track monthly bandwidth usage (downloads/streams of your files). Useful for staying within plan limits.
Support Access help documentation and contact support for technical issues, account questions, or workflow guidance.
